Courses

All courses are certified through AIDA International, a leading freediving organization. Currently, courses are capped at two students per instructor to keep instruction personalized.

AIDA 1 Introduction to Freediving

$100 | 1 day (~3 hours)

An introduction to freediving technique and safety. Dives up to ~33 ft. Leave with your AIDA 1 certification and the foundation to dive further.

This is the recommended starting point for most people.

AIDA 2 Freediver Course

$350 | 2-3 days

For casual breath-hold divers ready to build proper freediving technique. Leave with your AIDA 2 certification. Dives up to ~66 ft.

AIDA 3 Advanced Freediver

$450 | 3-4 days

For certified freedivers ready to push their depth and breath-hold to the next level. Dives up to ~98 ft.

  • Training sessions take place at one of two dive sites. More info.

  • Personal gear is not included in the course price. Here’s what you’ll need:

    • Wetsuit, 5 mm or 7 mm

    • Mask and snorkel

    • Fins

    • Weight belt

    Rental masks, snorkels, and weight belts are generally available. Rental fins and wetsuits may not be available in every size, so please reach out in advance to confirm availability and sizing.

    Rental prices:

    • Mask and snorkel: $10

    • Fins: $15

    • Weight belt: $10

    • Wetsuit: $20

  • It’s a good idea to eat something light before diving, as long as it’s easy to digest. Eggs, veggies, and sweet potatoes are great options.

    I recommend avoiding caffeine, dairy, meat, wheat, and acidic fruit before the dive session. These are just recommendations though, so don’t stress too much. You’ll be fine as long as you’re not getting in the water with a full stomach.

    Most important of all, stay hydrated. It goes a long way in freediving.

  • Sales tax

    Prices do not include applicable sales tax.

    Cancellations

    Full payment is due at registration. Cancellations more than 21 days before the course date receive a full refund. Cancellations within 21 days are non-refundable, but you may transfer your registration to a future course.

    Cancellation by Instructor

    If I cancel due to weather or safety conditions, we will find a time to reschedule or you will receive a full refund.

    Required waivers and forms

    Students must fill out the these required waivers and forms before attending a course.

Coaching sessions

Personalized 90-minute depth sessions for freedivers who want targeted instruction outside of a full AIDA course. Currently available to those who have previously taken a course. Book now.

Sessions are tailored to your experience, goals, and comfort in the water, with a focus on depth, equalization, finning technique, and skills that transfer to recreational freediving or spearfishing.

A good option for extra practice, video analysis, or building confidence in the water. GoPro footage is included.
